I'd like to personally thank everyone who pitched in to help out when the 2003 Rumble was cancelled due to the unbelievable flooding that occurred in Manatawny Park the day before the event.
To those of you who have served on the Rumble committee over the years, thank you for your tireless efforts, before, during and after the disaster struck us this year.

To all of the players who have supported the Pottstown Rumble for the past 12 years, I want to say thank you as well. Without you, there would be no Rumble. Not only are you all great competitors, but you also have a generous spirit. Many of you have donated your entry fees to save the Rumble tournament for the future. Without your support, we would not have been able to go on. Your donations have helped us to offset the pre-tournament expenses that come with an event like the Rumble. As many of you know, the Pottsown Rumble did not have insurance to cover such a financial loss. So without the donations of the entry fees, we could not have continued. Thank you all very much!!!

There are many players who traveled great distances and occur great expenses to come and play in the Rumble each year. To those players, and others who may not travel as far, but come to play, I am sorry that we were unable to host the event this year. I hope that you are willing to make the trip next year again.

We have already begun preparations for next year's Rumble, which will be our 13th one. The dates are Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2004 - so mark your calendars.

Thanks again for all of your support in the past. We hope to see you in 2004!
